Richard is currently creating a 6ft wide, four piece jazz band for exhibition at this year's FEVA festival in Knaresborough, North Yorkshire which is held for ten days commencing on the 14th August 2009.
Once Richard has completed his exhibition work he will continue with his 4ft tall sculpture representing the figure of Johnny Cash and also a number of 5ft tall sunflowers for garden display.
Richard's work has recently been shown on BBC2's Gardeners' World in a show garden called "All the Right Notes but..." which was designed and created by "Halcyon Days" of Nottingham.
The garden represents a Morcambe & Wise sketch featuring Andrew Previn and the 5ft high "chords" are exact replica's of the opening bars of Grieg's Piano Concerto.
It achieved a "silver gilt" at the Sandringham show on the 29 July this year and was attended by Prince Charles and the Duchess of Cornwall.
The show garden is to be displayed permanently at the seaside town of Hunstanton in North Norfolk
